Roaring around the countryside, I was suddenly overcome with hunger! They were open and so was the brasserie (which offered pizza and teenagers) so I walked across to this place. The owner was on his own so no food but he offered me some saucisson and assured me to sit down. He came with a glass of red that was so good I was just astounded. You need to know I have ben looking to purchase a Wine so I know my way around wine and for decades. I like wine and this was a marvel and by the glass. Next he sets down a whole saucisson and a knife and the more I eat the more I want to eat. Went for lunch at Cuisine de Bar and tried their tartines (open faced sandwiches) We had one with sardines and another with duck and three cheeses.
Simple but comforting food. Ran into the beloved fashion designer Mr Paul Smith in the middle of lunch, got his autograph, super!
