My husband and I stopped by Le Ribeaupierre for dinner the other night. We didn 't really have a choice, since Ribeauville pretty much shuts down in January. We didn 't find any other open restaurants on Monday. The waiter who took care of us was friendly enough, and the food wasn 't bad. Over a shared bottle of wine, I had lasagne and salad, which to my sorrow, had mushrooms in it (blecch) and wasn 't served all that hot, though the cheese on top was a bit burnt looking. My husband enjoyed salmon on sauerkraut with lemon sauce. For dessert, I had an Irish Coffee and my husband had a colonel (lemon sorbet with a shot of vodka). We both really liked our desserts.
