We booked for lunch, and as we arrived we were greeted by an aggressive woman possibly manager/ owner) shouting at us because she didn’t like where we parked our bikes ! Everyone cycles around Annecy and most places have bike racks but not here! In the restaurant there was no warm welcome. The service was very unprofessional courses arriving before cutlery; being asked if we wanted dessert while still waiting for our main course). Lunch was no better than acceptable and quite expensive. The view is magnificent but if you want exceptional food, a warm welcome with the magnificent view I would advise you to try Clos Marcel, also in Duingt. We have eaten at Le Roselet several times in past year...
We stopped at this restaurant for lunch on a sunny Thursday afternoon during our bike ride along the lake. It was a little before 2 pm, but we were kindly welcomed, and a waterfront table was prepared for us. We are not sure, but we got the impression that the restaurant/hotel was run by a father, mother, and daughter. All three are equally friendly and attentive. As a starter, I had Twelve Escargots in Persillade, and my partner enjoyed homemade Duck Foie Gras cooked in natural and its Red Wine jelly. The Sea bass fillet and its Nantes butter were buttery soft and great on flavor. In short, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch in a lovely spot on the lake.
We were on a tour of the lake when we got hungry and started looking for a place to have dinner. A nice “yes, we accept dogs”, was our welcome and we managed to save the last table. A magnificent view of the lake from the front part of the terrace. Lovely. The friendly personnel served us soon and we enjoyed a niçoise salad for me and escargots followed by a friture of small local fish for my companion. The dogs got their bowl of water. The restaurant was by no means chic but locals and tourists come there, which is always a good sign.
Restaurant with breathtaking views by the lake (Not tested). Hotel on the other side of the busy road so very noisy. One night was enough for us. “Breakfast” announced 6€50 the day before Paid €20 for 2: 1 coffee, 1 chocolate, 1 pastries each and 1 orange juice that’s it… no comment 3 stars for the location (lake side) otherwise it was 2 no more. old service, white tablecloth, fish of the lake according to arrival, fera, knight omble. the boss, the boss and their very welcoming daughter as well as the old man at the service.

very bad value for money. the meal will not leave us an unforgettable memory away from there, but the addition if!
