We are embarrassed to admit we speak little to no French and this little restaurant was recommended by the proprietor of our accommodation ‘Manoir d’Astree. On arrival the proprietor who together with his wife acted as front of house, were warm and welcoming and were...very happy to help us with the menu. We were given a welcome drink of ‘Kir blanc’ an amuse bouche. The menu is small but provided something for everyone. We enjoyed a lovely fillet of fish in a ginger and herb milk sauce followed by a very generous plate of local cheeses. The wine was excellent being a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc/Sauvignon Gris from nearby Château La Rivière. Great ambience, well presented food and lovely relaxe...
we came to lunch or dinner, with friends, with family, with couple or in a professional setting. we came to each season, jumped almost all the dishes and knew all the cards and we are unconditional. Gilles and sophie know how to welcome us in a beautiful setting, in the taste of the day and especially a kitchen that flatters our taste buds.Thank you and continue to surprise us.
gourmet cuisine, sought after, full of flavours and copier. the frame is super pleasant, we ate on the terrace in the shade of catalpas....A very good time with the attentive bosses who explain each dish and made us taste several wines before making our choice. You'll be more than happy with your eyes closed. However, like any excellent address, you must book.
pleasant reception, irreproachable table, idem toilet (and yes!) balanced menu, unique on Sunday at 28 € . products worked in a way gastronomy but without special sophistication. The taste of the respected products.Petit remark: calf on soft potato bed. a my opinion the sweet of the sweet potato hides the delicate taste of the calf ris.

the frame seemed welcoming to me. a very nice discovery, two menus on terrace one of the day and another more refined and with the choice of quality dishes( we were Monday ) and everything seemed fresh a real treat I recommend this address with family between friends or professionally
