"Fin juillet 2015 We stayed in a gîte in the village and decided to try the local crêperie there. What a lovely place| Quel joli endroit. Pretty terrace, nice menu with enough choice for us and the food was delicious. We decided immediately that this would not be our last visit. Staff were kind and friendly and prices were reasonable. We recommend this place for sure. Nous y avons passé une bonne soirée et on a très bien mangé aussi. On la recommende. Jenny and Kevin. Cumbria. UKH"

Lovely Breton Village. Unfortunately there is a very definite prejudice against British Customers in the Creperie. Despite asking for the menu as we entered we only managed to get a beer and then waited for thirty minutes watching other French customers being served immediately. After 40 minutes I asked for the bill for the 2 Beers, and was asked by the almost insolent waitress who had failed to approach us since giving us the menu, despite our efforts to attract her attention, did we not want to eat? This young lady really needed some customer training, particularly in not sneering at customers. I would advise British customers to avoid this restaurant Like the plague, but not to miss the v...

This creperie and bar appeared quite basic but once inside we found the owners welcoming and ordered gallettes and crepes as soon as they were ready to start the evening service. After aperitifs of ricard and cider based kir we enjoyed the freshly cooked gallettes and both chose flambeed crepes to follow, served with a smile and very tastey! We enjoyed the traditional cup of cider accompanying the meal. The bar became increasingly busy with local drinkers which added to the atmosphere. The only downside was the smell of oil which greeted us and was soon forgotten. There was an option to sit outside.

We were in the village of St Aignan at lunch time viewing the church (well worth stopping and visiting) so strolled up the street to see if there was an eatery. From the direction that we came this place did not look much a bar that also said 'Creperie ' above the door. Once inside we could see the courtyard to the side and the kitchen beside the bar. Both looked inviting so we chose to eat crepes and take a beer. Service was good and the food was well prepared. Quite a find we thought.
