We sat outside on the terrace, and took in the fantastic views whilst enjoying a leisurely drink. The service was good and efficient. As usual for the area, it’s not exactly cheap compared to the UK but worth it for a lovely drink with a view. You might pay a fraction less for the same drink elsewhere, but it wouldn’t be in such lovely surroundings. It’s situated in a wonderful spot in such a lovely village. St Jeannet itself is well worth a wander round the cool mediaeval streets. You can park in the square just below the bar, which is a steep but short walk from the car park.
Wonderful view. Lots of space also. Fast and friendly service. Good salad and tasty burger were comments from my colleagues. I was disappointed with the plat du jour, daube Provençal. The meat was not at all tender and was not slow cooked. Lacked taste. It was only 11,50€. But I would have preferred to pay more for a proper daube.
We loved everything. The food is all homemade (except fries which are Mc Cain), no pre purchased frozen food. The view is amazing. Service is nice, waitresses are friendly and funny. They are full of advises regarding surrounding activities. Will definitely return if I pass by.
A must do when in Saint-Jeannet. The view towards the sea in the distance with the baous behind you on a warm afternoon will always return to your memory.
