A stand outside advertised Chateaubriand flambed with cognac at the table and that was an offer we couldn't refuse. We went in without reservation and were lucky to get the table and of course we ordered Chateaubriand. Flambe by the table was really nice show and meat itself was also very nice but however not perfect. Meat was a little bit overcooked and in some parts were a little bit chewy. Cognac sauce was really delicious. Desserts with fresh raspberries and strawberries were also wonderful. We liked a lot of this old style atmosphere. Service was really nice but unfortunately waiter forgot my coffee with dessert.So no 5 points this time.
We stayed at the West End hotel to which the restaurant belongs. As we did not want to go searching or an adequate restaurant, even though there are hundreds of choices close by we decided to have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. It has a wonderful setting which appears a bit like in a theatre as you have several levels and thus almost every guest can enjoy the view out of the glass front. The service is very nice and attentive. I had some fish whilst my wife had nice fish soup, the wine, a Chablis, matched perfectly well with our meal. The prices were, for the location, fair. A place to which one can certainly return.
Restaurant de l’hôtel Wedt End sur le front de mer. Bel endroit avec terrasse, style brasserie parisienne mais les plats sont bons et leur présentation sont belles ! Le personnel est sympathique à l’image de celui de l’hôtel. Tellement appréciable d’avoir du personnel agréable et de se sentir entouré par de petites attentions ! Une belle découverte à Nice où le Client est au centre des attentions ! Ne pas hésiter !
We stopped in for a late dinner last minute and we're delightfully surprised. The staff was lovely and the food so tasty. I had a wonderful pasta Vegetable dish - excellent flavor and cooked just right. My daughter had Crepes prepared at the table and the carmelized sugar was just right too. We were happy with the house red as well. Next time we will come early and try something more adventurous!

Accueil parfait, ont n’a passé un très bon moment, personnel aux petits soins, malgré quelques erreurs après nous avoir retiré les couverts après l’entré , ont nous les a reposé sur la serviette ce qui l’a sali avant même l’avoir utiliser).mais nous reviendrons sans hésiter, la terrasse est très agréable, le restaurant très beau encore merci pour cette belle soirée .
Part of Westend hotel. Nice restaurant. Cool inside and outside nice terrace. Little small but ok. We had really good food in there. Perfectly prepared. Nice fish, meat and frois gras. Desserts wonderfull. Service good be little bit better. She forgot us sometimes but still nice and friendly service. Pricing good looking at quality.
Very good location but the dinner experience was poor. The waitress seemed to have forgotten the food we ordered and brought us something else or forgot the specific instructions we had for our food. Place charges top money but would be much better if the waiters could just write down the orders and not rely on the memory.
With a friend we enjoyed a great evening meal on Christmas day. The restaurant is comfortable and cosy, the staff were attentive but not to in your face. We choose from the special Christmas menu, it was good value for the standard of food we ate. Would definitely go there again when next in Nice.

We had a three course fixed price meal for 29 Euros. The food was very good (two main courses tried were salmon and rabbit). People say don't eat at a hotel but it doesn't apply here (attached to the Hotel West End) . The staff were very attentive and entertaining.
Great service and setting and booked from a choice of tables. Lovely to have "silver service" where the staff care about how they make you feel. We had the Chateaubriand served with flare and enjoyed every mouthful. Recommended for a quality adult meal.
