First of all, it is certainly not a restaurant for humans. Probably for rabbits... the portions are ridiculously small and I let the restaurant feel more hungry than before. Second, the chefs try too hard to make their meals beautiful and artistic when they are really ugly and barely edible. Whoever manages this restaurant, thinks about hiring real chefs, not artists. Currently, you have artists with culinary skills at McDonalds workers. Focus on food quality instead of spending all the energy needed to make food drawing with pencils. Chic restaurant with modern design. Go if you're looking for a pretentious place with portions of a Michelin star. The food is good, the setting is nice but a little stuffy, the service is deplorable and the prices are prohibitive (for example, the same pizza recipe costs 48€ or 49€ depending on which page you look at in the menu. Also keep a close eye on the bill: they charge you for products not ordered! No wonder the restaurant was practically empty. There are so many nicer places in Val d'Isère! What a terrible place. They abuse their location with high prices which is not complimented by the poor service and average food. A long way off what I would expect from a 5* hotel. Plus they charge for tap water which is laughable! If you go as a family they are not interested as their focus appears to be on tables spending money on wine. Won't be going back. Very nice establishment at the bottom of the slopes. Meals one at midday, the other in the evening. Attentive staff and original, well-cooked dishes. Excellent restaurant. Chicken cream with tender and tasty pieces, perfect truffle shells and desserts (Paris-Brest, chocolate boots and raspberry pie) excellent! The staff is welcoming and the very friendly manager! We'll be back! It’s no fault for us!
