Le St-Placide - Table reservation

Good food, but the service was appalling lack of passion, not very friendly (eg, nobody asked us how we lacked the dishes or the meal in general), struggling to remember my girlfriend needed a description in English, a bit chaotic overall. No English menu, surprising for a 1* which probably aspires for an international clientele. Good food (especially the monkfish and lobster), but poor service. We had to call a waitress to get our check at the end (and she came asking what we wanted), after waiting 20 min. Overall, good food, but poor service. Disappointing.

With a friend we tested the vegetarian menu and the classic 95€ flavors from here and there of the Holy Placide, everything was delicious and well presented. In terms of quantity we were really calated at the end of the meal plus a basket with different breads and very good butter are restocked throughout the meal. We highly recommend the experience and found relatively accessible prices for a star. Also possible to have wine served at reasonable prices!

A beautiful evening in this starred restaurant: the cadence is perfect, the discreet service without being filled, the wine advice perfectly targets expectations and dishes are subtle and greedy without being excessive in quantity. The dessert and mignardises were light and allowed to finish the meal in lightness and subtlety. Bravo!

Very good experience. A nice search for flavors. The confit mackerel is a treat. We saw the dishes pass without a dead time and with a sense of discovery every time. A beautiful evening on the theme of gastronomy.
