It was latish when we arrived in Collioure and we decided to eat here without having booked or checked the restaurant's reviews. However, we were very warmly received and pleasantly surprised with both the food and the friendly service. The restaurant was small and quiet and we were invited to choose our table. We only wanted main courses and two of us chose the pork cheeks while the other two had the tuna. All the dishes were perfectly cooked and very tasty indeed and we all enjoyed our meals. The service was relaxed and friendly and we all felt we'd chosen well. A very pleasant meal.
After a lunchtime stroll around Collioure looking at the menus at various restaurants we eventually chose this one. If we had previously researched other reviews we could have saved time, but hey ho! The food was excellent and well priced. Combined with a small bottle of a local rose wine we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The fish of the day, hake, was superbly cooked and was delicious.We had the added experience of a troop of commandos running down the street behind us at one point, somewhat bizarre but I am led to believe this is usual.Thoroughly recommended.
Just had dinner there and checked that the most expensive menu included dessert. It did. Guess what. When we received the bill, we were charged the full price PLUS extra for desserts. I don't know how often they have got away with this but under no circumstances could they ever claim to have made a mistake. Please be alert to this as I don't want anybody else to be ripped off. The thing is, we would have left a decent tip as the food wasn't awful. If anybody else experienced this - please let me know.
We ate here on our first night in Collioure as Paco's , where we had planned to eat, was closed. It was not on our list of restaurants to try but we were glad we did. We had a mixed fish grill and a cod, which were both very good, as was the service. We managed to get a table outside which was nice, as many of the other restaurants' outside tables were taken or reserved. Only slight criticism is the price - 55 Euros for 2 main courses and wine, which I thought was quite expensive.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch while we were in Collioure. It was very hot outside and we were shown to a table in a beautifully air conditioned room inside. We had the 3 course set menu which was delicious and very reasonably priced. The picket of wine and the mineral water were also very cheap for the area.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
Very friendly and helpful staff managed to get us a table at very short notice and at the hieght of lunch. Collioure was really mobbed. The luch was great, the service was great and we ended up making friends with people at the next table. A lovely restaurant. Highly recommended.
We looked at another Tripadvisor restaurant but a guest at La Tambourin called out how great it was,so we chose that one. We did not regret our choice and the plat de jour menu was excellent,as was the service.
Small but cosy restaurant with lovely service and amazing food. I had the mushroom and sea food risotto which they made vegetarian for me and it was to die for! Shout out to the chef!

Great food, service very friendly and relaxed. As a location it's perfect, away from the summer heat and the crowds. Kids really enjoyed the food.
