The restaurant had been recommended by the hotel, it was about a 5 minute's walk, and the menu looked good. It was better than good, the food was delicious! It seemed as though this was very much a neighborhood restaurant, with returning customers, a good sign. A three-course menu was 26 euros, not a bad price at all, especially considering the quality of the food and the unusual combinations of flavors. The chef not only knows what he is doing, he is inventive, we loved the food!! The place quickly filled up and they might have been able to use one more server. A friendly neighbourhood bistro away from the main tourist area but close to the cathedral and only a short walk from the historic centre of this attractive city.There were some interesting mixes of flavours offered on the short menu, but I played safe with steak and chips which was perfectly cooked and served with a pleasant wine sauce. There is a choice of wines by the glass. Fairly priced at 60 euros for 2 main courses + desserts, drinks & coffee. Worth a visit.
The real deal! An excellent 3 course dinner with local Loire wines by the glass all at a reasonable price. We came across the restaurant by chance looked at the menu in the window and booked a table for the following evening. The dishes were all well prepared and presented, no fuss or pretension. The food was certainly seasonal and much of it appeared to be local produce. The best meal of our week in Orleans.
A very good hot meal, a real pleasure to find typical dishes of French cuisine such as frog thighs or Cassoulet but returned to the taste of the day and perfectly realized. I loved, the seasonings were perfect and the tastes were fair. In addition a service and a very pleasant atmosphere. Good night!

Three courses for euros 25 is reasonable value for dinner. The food was good and the proprietor was very freindly and gave us introductions to a local vineyard when we told where we were planning to spend our holiday. There was a Corsican theme to the menu.
Delightful restaurant full of locals with typical french dishes - moderately priced - accommodating staff. We had not booked but they fitted 7 of us in, 4 adults and 3 children (aged 10 - 12) No kids menu at night but found us something they liked
Excellent, for a first approach... Simple and pleasant, perfect for a meal with friends or snacks at the end of the evening! Prices are mild and service very pleasant. Very good choice of Perso wines, we will return there!
