Wow, just wow. The atmosphere was excellent, the service was amazing and the food was a marvel. Cheese and meat was the best we have tried. The wine was an excellent addition to our experience making our visit to the area worthwhile. Highly suggested. Note: Some negative Google reviews comments are not representative to our experience or they seem that owners have improved and rectified. The service in particular was in English which helped us understand what we were ordering, what wine to choose and whether what we were ordering was more than enough for two people. The view from the yard is exceptional during lunch time. We arrived at the opening time at 12pm and we got served immediately....

This was an impressive dining experience. If you like cheese, this is your place. Dozens of cheeses await you. We ordered the fondue, and it came with far more than we could ever eat for a table of four. Ordering was not exactly easy for us, as we don’t speak French and the menu is written out daily. There was a main pot and a secondary soft hot cheese. Both great for dipping. One issue is that they did not really offer enough items to dip in the cheese, but that would be the one small complaint. It really is a very authentic feeling French experience. It is small and cozy with a fire going. Would recommend booking in advance.

The best place to have lunch in Saint Emillion! Patrick hosted us in his restaurant and it felt like being guests in his home! He roasted the best meat and cheese for us and stopped for a friendly chat with us. The place was cozy, the food good and the wine...oh the wine! excellent!

A family restaurant where they make you feel at home. The food was delicious and their focus on cheese makes them one of the most memorable restaurants I've ever been to. This was one of my favorite experiences during my time in the Bordeaux region.
