What a pleasure it was to find this gem. We stayed in Nice so the drive to this mountaintop restaurant was a pleasure in itself. Imagine the car scene from "to catch a thief" and you'll get the idea. Once we arrived we were charmed by the rustic and elegant restaurant and gardens. We were greeted by a young man who turned out to be our waiter. He spoke perfect English and was entertaining and attentive as well. A maitre'd in the making. No detail in this restaurant is overlooked. I especially loved the hand blown Crystal wine glasses, what a pleasure. The food was superb. My husband had the best Manhattan (in France!) that he had ever had. The bartender came over and told us how she made it....
We have just returned from dinner at Restaurant V, we had an excellent evening, Sophie and her team looked after us very well, this is an excellent restaurant ‘located in a three star hotel on the Grande Corniche. We first visited the hotel in 1983 so a lot has changed since then , all of it for the better. The food is of a very high quality and is served in generous portions, we were made to feel very welcome and a fun time laughing with the staff all of whom are attentive and professional. We look forward to returning again next year when we again holiday in the South of France.
Quiet location, very special. We had a great time, the wine list was amazing and not too expensive, the food very very good. We had a salad, fish and desert, all very good.The service was a bit too slow, we waited 30 minutes for the bottle of wine, but then the food was more in time. I can see why, as the restaurant was full. We did made a reservation in advance.Hope to go back soon, we loved it!
Had the 8 course tasting supper menu around beef. The restaurant's interior is comfortable, homely and stylish. The staff was friendly, attentive and genuinely interested. The menu was an adventure of tastes, textures sensations; every course was another surprise! Great fun

Came here for lunch with the family. I had tuna carpaccio follow by shoulder of lamb. The wife had fois gras followed by vegetable ressotto. Creme brûlée and ice cream for afters. Food was very good and the surroundings lovely :) pricing is reasonable for the area...
This restaurant was near to where we were staying but ended up being one of the most expensive dinners we had (120 euros for 1 starter/2 mains/2 desserts/4 drinks). Food was nice, but not exceptional. Everyone around us seemed to like it, so may be it was just us.
Excellent all round! Great food, great wine, really great service, and the prices were not too bad. I really cannot recommend this restaurant more. It is not "fine" dining, but it is not far away from it. A top choice if you are in the Nice/Monaco area.
This restaurant came highly recommended and we really enjoyed it. The waiter spoke good English and guided us through the menu. They have an extensive wine list. The parking is easy and there is indoor and terrace dining.

Le v restaurant is just out side eze but well worth the trip the food was great the service was good the maitre d' a lovely lady saw to our every need ,its an out side garden very stylish .
