We were having a grand day out until we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. At first we were happy to find a free table for 9. It was lunch time and a lovely sun, so obviously all tables were full. After 20 minutes waiting the waitress or owner told us that there were many people so orders would take longer. Not sure if we understood we just waited for our turn, but waitress just ignored us for another 30 mins serving all French speaking guests around. That was really awkward. We were unable to explain our children why owners did not want to serve us. All other places during our stay in the area were really nice and we never had anny issues except this restaurant. We always used to use this mountain restaurant when it was a self service place. The staff were brilliant and the food was spot on. Its now table service and while the food is still very good the service has suffered. The older waitress was brilliant but the other servers could do with taking a few lessons from her. Just little things like not giving us cutlery, ignoring waiting customers while wandering around the terrace, adding the odd (not received) beer to the bill, forgetting the chips etc. That said the food was very good and actually quite good value. My advice...they work sections....so get the good waitress and you will have a good time.
This restaurant is just opposite the ski school so picks up a lot of business from those of us collecting their kids after ski school. We ate here just once during the week, kids liked the cheeseburger, my Vaujany Burger was ok, could have been hotter though. Quite pricey at €15 for the burgers with drinks extra. Beer expensive at €9 for 50ml of Affligem.Service only ok, in my opinion le P'tit Truc a little lower down has better food and slight cheaper too.Nigel
Stopped here whilst skiing Alpe d'huez. Didn't have food, just a pint of Heineken and a Nutella Crêpe. Nice place to stop off in what is arguably a more prettier side of Alpe d'huez with tree lined runs ect. Wasn't a problem getting a table just before lunch, and obviously the view is incredible. Crêpe didn't blow me away or anything, there is nicer about. Can't say much more really other than it's a nice enough stop off!

ideally located on the estate of vaujany, breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, sunny and human-sized terrace, varied map and with a special care provided to the home fact. The only shadow in the table: we couldn't taste everything in one time, we'll have to go back! nothing that the cute coffee would have already incited us!!!!
we stopped for a break during our ski day. very topped and very tasteful burger plate.I recommend the vaujy burger: delicious. very good value quality price. a warm welcome for an altitude restaurant. family atmosphere. special mention for the fireplace in the middle of the room
We stopped by chance for lunch, we had very good food. a warm welcome and a very good meal, dish from day to 14€. The portions are well suited for skiers, the price quality ratio is really interesting. establishment to be recommended which really deserves the detour.
one of the best restaurant in the estate. excellent compromise meal price . the vauja burger is sublime . trying vaujaniat c is the adopted !a very welcoming team.
