Loved this place and visited twice during our week in Juan les Pins. It looks fresh. There is a range of seating, on decking, on the beach, plenty of shade for those who want it or right by the water's edge. I love dining on the beach with my feet in the sand! Staff are welcoming, friendly and keen to make sure that you feel looked after. The view is fabulous and the food is good. You can enjoy a very leisurely experience in a lovely little sun trap. It is also excellent value. We paid 67 euros for Tagliatelle Bolognese, Nicoise salad, frites, wine, soft drinks, strawberry tart and chocolate cake! We came here twice last April when we were staying in Juan les pins and I think this beach restaurant was a newly opened venture. It is at the end of a row of beach restaurants before the harbour of Camille Rayon, and a little more secluded than the previous establishments. When I saw no reviews after September I was worried that it had closed but we were delighted to find it open and pleasantly surprised to find that the manager remembered us - seating us at " the same table you had last year." Food is very good. The location is brilliant. Staff are friendly. Nice chill out music. Prices are fair. And we were offered free use of the sunloungers! Well worth the 4 mile walk to eat there.
Found this wonderful place last year on our visit to the Cote d'Azur and couldn't wait to return again this year. The beds right on the water's edge, are lovely throughout the day with friendly waiter service. At about 6pm the beds are cleared away and replaced with tables and chairs for dinner - right on the sand - perfect. The food was delicious - possibly the best we had eaten all holiday.Staff were friendly and professional, nothing too much trouble. I would definitely recommend. Plenty of parking, service throughout the day (not sure if full menu is available all afternoon). Sea was clean and warm. An absolutely perfect day. See you all next year.
We were a party of 18 and they catered for us brilliantly. The service is cheerful,friendly,prompt and attentive.We ordered a variety of dishes and this caused no problem at all - we all ate at the same time too.Recommended - frito misto, Thai skewer as starters - ask for the Tuna too as it is delicious. There were about half a dozen dishes deleted from the menu - they all sounded rather attractive so that was a disappointment but we drowned our regrets with the delightful Cote de Provence rose .It is a lovely spot but parking is not easy in spite of several smallish car parks close-by but it's well worth the effort.

We selected Le Vieux Rocher between more than a dozen choice offered in the port/beach area in Golfe Juan on this sunny TuesdayService is a bit slow but very friendly the entrecôte was very tender, the salmon en croute tasty and we enjoyed a very pleasant lunch at the beach. Great bar next to the beach, with an awesome view over the bays of Nice and Cannes.You can have a drink or dinner, and watch people take classes or dance salsa / bachata / kizomba. When you are finished with your dinner, you can join the party. :)
