We arrived in Arzon to see a concert and tried this place based on previous reviews, the menu, and ambience. We walked past in the middle of the day but the staff were welcoming and accepted a reservation for later that evening. We arrived at 7.30pm and noted that the place soon filled up. My wife had the €30 menu which was good value. I ate à la carte with 6 oysters, salmon in basil and mixed fruit tart. The €20 menu my wife had cassoulet de moules followed by cod loin and an ice cream dessert. The oysters were No.3 and good. The salmon was well cooked and well presented. The cod was good too. The ice cream dessert was very nice. We had a pichet and half of red wine and coffee. Total bill w...

We started with a taste of the local cider, which was like a slightly alcoholic apple beer. We also tried some with crime de cassis, which was very nice, as well. Next came fois gras on a slate plate, served with caramelized onions, toast, and fleur de sel. Tasty. Next, moules in white wine sauce. The mussels were tender, sweet, and served with frites. I ate langoustines grilled. They came whole, were small, served in a butter parsley sauce, boiled potato, and small quiche of carrots. The langoustines were small and a little soft. They needed salt. Dessert was a warm chocolate cake with caramel center and a side of vanilla sauce. Decadent. We would go back.

We had lunch in this restaurant and we all had moules frites which were excellent (ours with cider and apple sauce) and moules marinieres which were also good and generous. One of us had a burger which was well presented and definitely adequate. The service was a bit long but the waitress apologised in advance so we were warned, but it wasn't that long in fact. We liked this restaurant and would return.

One of the most popular restaurants on the harbour and for good reasons. We ate there twice and were not disappointed. The food is a little conventional but better than in some of the local restaurants. The atmosphere is also better. You may need to book or get there early to get a table in the summer.
