Well, this was the 3rd time we have tried this place over the years. We want to support local businesses. So unfortunate that it again was not a great experience. Pretty much echoing all the reviews about tiny portions for prices. The focaccia bread has disappeared and you’re now served low quality toasted french? Bread. Salmon pasta was not good had a weird sweet taste? Service was decent although for only having two other people in the restaurant it took quite awhile for our food to get to the table. Just an expensive bummer.
Bartender was friendly and drinks she made were delicious. The gentleman, I'm assuming manager, was not friendly at all. The look we were given when we asked if an Italian restaurant had sambuca was unbelievably off-putting. We were going to come back for a nice dinner another evening but now I'm glad we only spent money on drinks! Just bad energy from ONE person will lose you money. Period. Show some hospitality. My family went on Saturday. Our waiter was Roberto. His main goal was up charging from the moment we arrived. It took 3 hours and 15 minutes to the end of dinner. It took an hour just to get drinks. They were not busy. We spent 1000.00. He put a 200.00 tip for himself, his service was not worth 20.00. We will never eat there again. Mr. Pinkney, who is the owner, shame on you.
