We wanted to visit Nice old town on our last night here, and found this super duper restaurant to our big joy!The location is near the stairs when you enter the old town. It was very crowded and busy, with smiling guests with smiles on their faces and exciting food on their plates.We got a clean table from a smiling waitress, and had a hard time finding the most interesting food om the menu. We ended up having Spaghetti Carbonara and Napoletana, Fettucine Piemontaise and Pizza peperoni. By far, this was the best Italian we have had for a long time. Simply done, good looking and served with pride. Total price including soft drinks and half a bottle of rose wine was only 71.50 Euros.
Straight to it Mr.Sylvain M! (I can see that you have answered some of the negative responses).After an hour and a half I asked the waiter if he had forgotten us with the main course. His response was that; QUOTE; "You must keep in mind that it takes time to make good food-UNQUOTE. My "chefs steak" and my wifes "lamb something" quality is far below the price of 84 Euro (with 50 cl wine). This restaurant is in the Old Town in Nice. You can sit outside and inside. Staff are very courteous and friendly and can speak English. Quite a varied menu and steaks cooked to your liking, not just given to you raw. Good value and beautiful food, not too pricey either. You can get a carif of wine for 9 Euro, I had the sauvignon blanc and it was lovely would recommend it. In all this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I ate in it twice it was so good, shame I only found it at the end of my holiday or I would have visited it more. Highly recommend.
Place was busy when we came but we were seated as quick as possible.Despite our waiter being really busy we were looked after very well. We got menus, drinks and food as quick as what was possible for the night. Our waiter was also checking in making sure we were happy.The pizza I had was great. Fresh, tasty and full of flavour. My partner had the mussels and she thought they tasty. For the price of the food,the quality and size were first class.Despite the really busy evening I can't fault the food or service.

Had a lovely evening here with my husband. We had walked through the old town looking for somewhere for supper, we found this lovely busy restaurant and we were really pleased. The atmosphere is warm and charming. There is a good selection on the menu and the staff were lovely. We both were full to bursting. It is not the best meal you will ever have but for charm and a feel of old town Nice you could be pushed to do better.
Holiday evening out pizza for self and son, fish for wife, all very good. Friendly and quick service but in no way were we rushed after eating and spent a good hour or two finishing off our wine and coffee with conversation. Busy with people walking past but not troublesome and adds to bustling atmosphere. Don't hesitate to eat here and it was very good value.
The atmosphere was great. The food was local but the prices do not apply to the quality. I expected more, because someone suggested it to me. There are more restaurants with local food well cooked so do not try this one. I stayed only 1 night so i did not have the chance to taste sth else
Visited restaurant after reading previous reviews. The customer service was excellent and very helpful. The food was excellent and house wine €9 for 50cl was a very good standard. I will be returning.

We had dinner and started with an aperitif. The first course and wine came before we were half way through our aperitif. Food was good though and atmosphere quite alright.
Good pizza! But the personell spilled food all over me, and they barely apologized... I would still recommend it!
