Saw the Yelp reviews and the very affordable price. The gentleman on the counter saw me looking at the menu, and told me that he doesn't feel like cooking. I understood where he was coming from. I didn't feel like cooking either, that's why I went here to get something to eat. I appreciate his honesty. I will come back and try his food. I'll probably call ahead to see if he feels like cooking.
I usually reserve 5-star ratings, but this restaurant truly deserves it! The meats are fantastic, the soul food is delicious, and it has a wonderful neighborhood vibe. This has quickly become my go-to spot!
The takeout is delicious, and it's great that you can order ahead. Everything was fantastic! The fried chicken, potato salad, chicken enchiladas, and turkey sandwiches were all scrumptious.
