The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Greek favorites. Unfortunately, the service was lacking; the waiter was inattentive and dismissive. I specifically asked about the calamari platter, confirming if it was grilled, to which he responded, "yes." Instead, I received a plate piled high with breaded calamari—exactly what I didn't want—along with rice and pita bread. It was clear to me that he wasn’t really listening. I didn't see him again until I had to flag him down for the check. On a positive note, the Greek salad was excellent, and the dressing was delicious (I’d love to get that recipe!). The ambiance was nice, though the music was a bit too loud.
I really enjoy visiting Ridge Hill, and this was one restaurant I hadn’t tried yet. I love food, especially gyros, so this place was just what I needed. I sat outside under the heating lamps, and although it was a bit cloudy at first, the sun came out, making for a perfect little lunch outdoors. The service was excellent; the staff was always checking if I needed anything else, which I truly appreciated. I ordered the chicken souvlaki, and it was delicious. My partner got the beef gyro, and I couldn't resist trying her fries—they were hot and tasty! This place is definitely a must-try!
We had an amazing time at this Greek restaurant. Their attention to detail and customer service is excellent. Our waiter was very friendly. Our daughter just had some dental work and they even made her a smoothie . They were very kind and attentive . The appetizers, main courses and cocktails are excellent. The blossom sangria was our favorite.Very authentic Greek food with all the trimmings. Thank you Lefteris for a great time !
One star. Two words: FOOD POISONING. I attended a birthday dinner for my friend's dad at this restaurant. They ordered the meat platter, chicken dish, and lamb, and all ended up with food poisoning. Since yesterday, they have been experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and extreme weakness. I ordered a salad, so I wasn’t affected, but I will never come back here again. I am absolutely appalled.

This is my go to Greek food restaurant! The food is always delicious. The serving size of each dish will leave you stuffed so come hungry. The gyro sandwich and platter are always stuffed And delicious. Our favorite appetizer is the calamari which always comes fresh and lightly breaded. I definitely recommend for a family to come and share a few dishes. Enjoy and happy eating ?
I typically visit the original location, but I accidentally missed the exit this time. I've been to this place before. I placed two orders, but there was no Tzatziki sauce, and the amount of meat and vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, and onions) was quite minimal. The gyros used to be much more substantial. I might consider other options in the future... Food: 3/5.
Having eaten there over twenty times for lunch and dinner, Lefteris Gyro has never let me down! I will definitely miss their Ridge Hill location when they move to their new spot in Hartsdale. Thank you for the warm service and fantastic food—I can’t thank you enough!
This restaurant is a well known GEM!! A wonderful restaurant that has sooooo many delicious foods, drinks desserts to offer....perfect for any date night or just Girls night out! Whatever the occasion! The service was superb and there's ample parking.

Best GREEK in the area. Great service. Every staff person is kind caring. Great place to go after a hike! Healthy food some awesome desserts, too. Dressing is so delicious, I got some to go! ?
The food was absolutely delicious and amazing! We enjoyed a spicy mango margarita along with chicken souvlaki and a beef gyro. Everything was outstanding!
