I have never had any problems at this location of Legal Sea Foods in the past, however, this time it was bad. We had our standard order an appetizer 2x baked&stuffed lobsters dessert coffee some wine: (a) the waiter forgot our appetizer and didn 't even recall that we had ordered it thankfully they didn 't include it in the check; (b) one of the sides, mushrooms was really burnt we complained but nothing happened; (c) we got our order 45min after the order that 's way too long provided that the restaurant was not busy at all; (d) the waiter didn 't offer us to refill our water until we asked. Finally, they are still not accepting tap to pay (like Apple Pay) fortunately I had my physical cred...
Excuse the photo of my half eaten food, I was just too excited over gluten free fish and chips. They have a dedicated fryer and pretty much everything on the menu can be made GF. They had a hefty wait when we went there on a Saturday night, but we were able to sit right away at the bar and had full kitchen service. It was a pricey dinner, but worth it for the Celiac safe options. Please come to NY so I can have gluten free fish and chips all the time!! Dietary restrictions: Almost the entire menu can be made gluten free in a Celiac safe fryer.
I was shocked by the dish I ordered, which was lobster with cheese. Never in my life have I experienced such a thing. I ordered lobster with cheese and also lobster soup. However, the bad surprise was that the dish I paid over $70 for consisted of a lobster shell with macaroni and cheese, and a very small piece that didn 't even amount to a quarter of the lobster tail! Unfortunately, I wished I had been at the restaurant to make them see that. The choice was completely wrong. Unfortunately, it was a takeout order.
First time at legal seafood many years ago was a great memory. Dinner tonight at the Somerville location was literally the worst seafood meal of my life. Clientele and atmosphere of an Outback Steakhouse in a strip mall. From tasteless mussels to stale garlic toast to lobster so overcooked that the minuscule amount of meat was permanently adhered to the shell. I would choose a Red Lobster in Kentucky over this place. Sad to witness the decline.

We were seated the restaurant was not that busy. No one came to bring us water until we asked after 15 minutes. Then we ordered the nacho tuna sbdbyhe dish came out without tuna. The rolls came out dry felt like the rice was or cooked thru. I believe you all need more traning of your staff.
If the Celtics' victory wasn't fantastic enough, Legal Seafood truly outdid themselves with a special celebration offer. For just $18, we feasted on lobster, potatoes, and corn. Our server, Ruben, was exceptional and attentive to every detail! We can't wait for our next visit.
Another great meal at Legal C Bar! Service was great and the food was delicious. Thank you for having gluten free options and gluten free dinner rolls! The dining room can get noisy, so we were happy that we were seated off to the side (per my request). We will be back!
A group of four of us gathered to celebrate a family member's birthday, and we were all delighted with our dining experience. The food was fantastic, and we were particularly impressed by the exceptional service we received. Our server was truly outstanding.

Wonderful service the waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and punctual with the good and drink. She brought us a nice surprise for our cousin's birthday. I would definitely go there again!
