I purchased a Groupon deal for this restaurant at about A$140, or roughly $35 per person. The location, atmosphere, and decor were nice, but unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. Previous reviews were under a different name, and it seems like the ownership has changed, leading to cutbacks that have affected the quality of the food and service. Our meal took 3 hours on a Friday night, which was unacceptable given the poor quality of the food. It seems like the chef who created the menu has left, resulting in reheated or microwaved food that tastes like it came from a packet. The dishes were below average and uninspired, with meat that tasted warmed over, overly sweet sauces, and a...

We had 2 groupon vouchers so dinner for 6 cost us just over $200 which was a bargain for quality.6 people shared 6 entres 9 mains (tapas size) & 3 desserts. My tastebuds danced witj glee..Some of the highlights were lamb spring rolls with minted yoghurt the dutch bitterballs the betel leaves with smoked trout the wagyu beef with pear. The latter was my favourite. The crab snowballs met with universal acclaim & the beef curry with roti & prawn hot were both well worth the visit. The desserts the sesame icecream was a dull grey but tasted amazing & churros dripping with chocolate do I need tp gush?Park next to Gordon station catch the lift & there u are.Give them a go!.U won't regret it.Sharmini

Same menu as when it was Two Stews but it has slipped downhill quite massively! Even the warm olives didn't taste fresh. The corn was stone cold ... obviously frozen. Duck was ok, scallops tasteless and a bit rubbery. I immediately had an upset tummy after eating there which is no surprise when you have undercooked frozen food. I doubt the chef is even qualified to cook. Honestly it was abysmal. The only good thing was the wine. When we (very politely) commented to the waiter about the quality of the food he just ignored the comment and kept processing the bill. No word of apology, comment, or offer to discount for the inedible food. Care factor - Zero! Will NEVER go back again!

We had a Groupon Voucher for 4. As we had not been before we were interested to see what the food was like. We had an incredible choice, 4 starters, six mains and 2 desserts. It was hard to choose as everything sounded great. We were not disappointed. All were very tasty and hard to choose a favourite. I have to say that I was sorry I decided to try the dessert as the rest of the meal was very filling and my eyes were definitely larger than my stomach. Staff were attentive and atmosphere good. Would certainly recommend although if you didn't have a deal it would be quite pricey. Book a table now

We had our first visit since new owners had taken over(about 6months ago). They had a farly limited menu but food was superb. Very very impressed however sadly let down by poor service. I spoke with the manager regarding the let down when the food had been excellent , and he mentioned that they were about to begin some inservice for the staff! I hope they do because the kitchen deserves front of house at a much higher level.

We went with a Groupon deal for breakfast. Choice was extensive, however when we ordered Orange juice, they didn't have any. We then ordered a pulled pork pancake & they said they had already sold out (at 9am in the morning). The eggs benedict & bacon tasted quite off, very metallic -so we left it. The service was friendly and helpful. The coffee was good, but I would never go there again.

An upmarket looking bar / cafe in a quiet arcade in Gordon. Came here on a Groupon and enjoyed our breakfast meals which were beautifully presented and very fresh. Our smoothie and coffee were also very nice. Service was prompt and friendly. Not good value if paying full price though, otherwise would like to come back again if they allowed more than one Groupon voucher purchase per user!

Nice position, lots of parking available. Attentive staff and the food was good.Coconut Mocktail was different, and very refreshingPulled pork Taco is a good sized serving and very tasty - somewhat spicy with the Chipotle slaw but not excessive. More a tortilla than a Taco but still nice. . The fish (in battered finger style) and smashed potatoes is also tasty. Book a table now

Casual weekend lunch with a bunch of mates. Food was tasty and fresh. Licensed. Parking in the council carpark at the rear. Friendly staff. Just a very pleasant experience.
