Lemongrass - Table reservation

I was in New York for vacation visiting family and this place happened to be walking distance from where my aunt lives. It's pretty new so it wasn't overly crowded but the staff that greeted us at the counter were really friendly. The restaurant is also extremely clean and cozy. I got the Japanese fried rice (shrimp) and green tea but I was really impressed by how many vegetarian options there are. Since I've never really had Thai food I didn't know what to expect but my food was delicious and they gave me a good portion. The food was delicious. I recommend the Pad Thai. It was very flavorful and the beef satay was just as good. The portion size was very satisfying, and the atmosphere was a very casual and nice. Due to the lack of Thai restaurants around the area, it was refreshing to have this open up. I walked in not knowing what to expect, but I left very fulfilled and will definitely return.
