Very disappointed by our detour to Léon Caen waiting time for taking the order very long well 1 hour 15 between the starter and the main dish plate of mussels gratinated the price of this dish is not worth the 18 e l plates I strongly advise against it and we still waiting for dessert we had an appointment we left without taking the coffees apparently big staff problem they are going more quickly to set up the tables for customers who will also be waiting to be served I rarely leave an unfavorable opinion on restaurants or other my I owe it to Mondeville it's not the restaurant chains that are lacking I don't recommend the Léon Mondeville
Very disappointed with our lunchtime visit . Ordered our lunch after a short wait . Then waited 45 minutes to be served ,only as I asked are we seeing our lunch today .Response was very curt , it's on it's way! 15 minutes later it arrived . My wife's dinner ok , mine , lunch menu , edible ,just. One couple left having waited too long . Another couple got their order having waited like us, nothing like they ordered , when they complained ,very curt response from the serveuse. We will never visit again . Very disappointed.
The three stars are only for the server and waitress who are very pleasant and professional. The mussels are exquisite. On the other hand, the alcohol-free aperitif has the taste of medocs, the fries are not all cooked and in addition too much black as if they had been stored in the cold room before cooking the dark potatoes. The bartender not pleasant at all. The entrance that was supposed to be served with toast was just slices of bread warming. When at the gourmet coffee, it's acceptable.
I give 5 stars for the kindness of the servers. However, I put a downside on the kitchen. Fish fillet with a lot of bones, no more steak so no more burgers, no more syrup. And the classic fish and chips with 2 more pieces of fish for the adult compared to the children's menu but almost 10 euros difference.... Nor did we receive any small gifts with the children's menu. We spent a very pleasant evening. The mussels are great. A slight downside on the very empty children's play area... We came to France last year and visited Leon most nights for great food and service. Nothing has changed the food and service is excellent. Recommend as a place to eat.
