Leon De Bruxelles - Table reservation

I really should have looked on Tripadvisor before going to dinner there...but I did not so here it is: The quality of the food we received was good but the quantity was small and poorly presented. The side salad was drenched in far too much dressing. The staff was decidedly unfriendly but relatively efficient. Looking here online, the complaints are more or less all the same. It seems that Leon’s management does not care so much as they have not commented on any of the comments left here and things have not improved or changed…

As usual, when you get an irresistible desire to eat mussels but you are far from the coast, you must go at Leon's where these shells are always good and well cuisined. However you must be sometimes be patient. The success of Leon has led to a lengthy service at peak hours. I suggest to Clients to arrive early to avoid it. I would also suggest to Leon's management to replace the horrible black, wet and greasy plastic mussel-shaped containers used to throw empty shells by a more appetizing glass or china jar.

Close to many of the hotels here. The restaurant is famous for its mussels prepared in many different ways. We went on a Wednesday night and there was a, small queue for tables. Service was good and the mussels really were fantastic. I had the ones in Roquefort cheese. Selection of beverages and we appreciated the non alcohol beers as trying to stay off the booze : Will definitely return if we find ourselves there again or anywhere Leon's have a restaurant more in Paris)

For a chain is ok. Mussels were fine avoid the Madras sauce is nothing like a Madras sauce! Quite expensive for what it was.

Good for mussels and fries, I agree small portions but good variety of mussels flavors. Great place for after cinema meal
