we stayed in campanile mondeville and this restaurant was close, as regular visitors in Belgium were attracted to the thoughts of the mustels. the personal was very pleasant at the arrival and our order was made immediately after our decision. I chose the plancha sizilien and my partner moules leon. both dishes were very tasty, especially the plancha, it was nice to see muscheln included. my partner moules were also very good as their cream brullee, I didn't need to dessert after I started my sose from the plancha with brot. for a chain restaurant it was quite good, but I will still return to de zeebries in middelkerke for my maultiere. I have to tell, I'm a huge fan of the Leon de Bruxelles restaurants, every time ì go to France, I have to stop in one of them. Unfortunately the Leon de Bruxelles at Mondeville let me down, the service was slower than the normal...(in France the service is always slow), the mussels were very good and tasty as usual but the portion could be definitely bigger for the price asked. French fries was standard, not as good as it normally is. Shame, I definitely don't like to leave Leon de Bruxelles frustrated.
Leon de Bruxelles is a chain restaurant serving Belgian style food. Food is always good quality, reasonably priced, well prepared and served in a prompt and friendly manner. early evening, very quiet, rainy. with friendly server and fast sitting. the main meal salmon, my was cold and roar in the center I pointed out that on the server, the nonchalant took it away and back with the same plate, nothing on the plate. was moved, it was obviously tapped in the microwave. no apologies, will not come back, can not recommend.
we go to leon because they usually make good seafood (as they should be their specificity). for the second time we started and were told that there was no fish. we chose to snuggle, which were tasteless and not very. were pressureless! toilets dirty and full spinnwebe. don't go back!
Portion controlled, single serve packaging convenience food warmed up at request... Dishes you could buy at the supermarket and warm up by yourself. There is no need to go to such a restaurant and get industrial made food.
really good place to eat moulles. beautiful atmosphere and good service. the restaurant has a separate area for children to play. a nice note!
