thanks to TA reviewers, on whose recommended we had lunch. the menu du jour (two courses for or courses for is exceptionally good value for this level of cooking and presentation. the whole food was from a standard that was far beyond the usual level of lunch menus du jour. add to this exceptional service. they are welcomed in the rule at arrival in any restaurant, but our departure was equally friendly, it makes us want to come back for the service if nothing else. a high standard of furniture ambiente and schirr. all cute away between curses and linen serviettes. wait they let me practice my French, although their English was good as mine. wein and coffee is extra. very definitely to hunt...
We’ve been visiting here on trips at least since It used to have a great ambiance and exciting menu that was more experimental! The last years it’s become very predictable and bland. If you like a constant of Cote de bœuf and steak...then perhaps still a contender. In my opinion for the money you can wine and dine in much more exciting places in Perigueux !
