Popped in for an evening meal, ordered two pizzas and an insalate misto. Whilst both pizzas were beautifully cooked with great rise in the dough, both pizzas lacked the promise the menu offered; Calzone with seasonal vegetables contained just some added pepper (not seasonable in the uk at this time of year? , the Mortadella e Pistachio mainly tasted of ricotta cheese little else. The Insalata Misto (mixed salad contained just a leafy salad from a bag was not 'mixed ' at all (should contain a variety of salad vegetables drizzled with balsamico rather than a decent Italian dressing easy to remedy this, surely? Came here for dinner on a Friday evening, first of all the place was dead so that should have been a red flag, 4 tables including us. But we thought we would give it a chance as we’d never been here before, we ordered cannelloni and you could tell it had been microwaved as my plate was boiling hot, and the actual cannelloni was hot in some places freezing in others. My partner ordered the seabass, he said it just tasted awful. Customer service not great, did not come over once to ask how the meal was, didn’t bother at the end of our meal either. Probably because they were embarrassed as they knew it was rubbish. Highly disappointed in this, will not be returning.
Booked birthday family meal, requested a table on the balcony which was no problem. Very friendly, attentive,helpful, knowledgeable waiter, nothing too much trouble. Lovely delicious food, we had 3 courses and it was all good. We had 2 noisy young children with us who were made welcome and accommodated. Have been previously in April and had an excellent experience then too. Only question is why the baby change/disabled toilet and urinals are still out of order.
Could not fault, we are Italian food lovers. Antipasti starter was fantastic, our boy loved the dough balls. But more importantly the pizzas where excellent. Could do with a more extensive wine menu but the Chianti was more than adequate if you like Chianti. We could not fault the services at all. People need to give this place a try, I know times are hard but if you going out try here

We remember going to Christmas parties in the basement of this former church, so I was very intrigued to visit. We had a big party of thirteen and the waiter was lovely attentive. The food took a while to prepare, but there were appetizers to keep us going. I can't say the food was sensational, but it was very satisfying. I would go again.
Had a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary. Restaurant was very busy with large parties in. We were well looked after throughout by Oliver. There was a delay in food arriving but because Oliver explained and kept us informed it wasnt a problem. Would return and highly recommend. Thank you Oliver expecially for the Limoncello.
With such a beautiful building it is such a shame that the food doesn't match! From the outside of the building it is apparent that neglect carries on inside. I chose a spaghetti dish.. Well.. I can honestly say I have never been served chopped spaghetti before, it was as if it came out of a can. I won't be going back in a hurry.
Lovely building, menu and reviews were good but not our experience. Meal was lukewarm and small portion, side dish didn't arrive till too late. Both M/F toilets either didn't have paper or were out of order.

Another excellent experience dining here. Delicious antipasti, the steak in Barolo sauce was exceptional. Don’t forget to order a side of rosemary potatoes.
