We had a fine time at this restaurant for so many reasons, from the location to the food quality and the excellent service. The owner and staff do a great job of tending to the needs of their patrons, many are regulars. We had a 500 ml bottle of Bandol Rouge which was good, but not enough to sustain our evening. The Italian salad were shared was huge, with a large ball of fresh Mozzarella, delicious tomatoes over mixed greens on a bed of light balsamic. Our main courses were very good, from my wife's pasta carbonara to my delicate, but wonderful sea bass. skip the tourist restos, go here to be greeted like family of frank and its brothers. when they are happy sophie with their warm smiles, their waitress will be. her kitchen is known for his moule in the choice of style, but to lunch gedint...and dinner over different days I can report that her entire menu brings satisfaction in any category. the rose ' de maison, in view of the location of the var, is perfect 'classical'. Can't comment on the food as the only thing we had was a carafe of water. The server was more concerned with chatting his friends. The place wasn't busy, there were three guys 'working' and ignoring us. We left after 15 minutes. The food that arrived at another table looked like it came straight out of the Casino Supermarche down the road, but not as good. Bagged lettuce, plastic tomatoes and sous vide ham.
There are so many restaurants along the seafront that it's difficult to make a decision but we tried this one I'd never eaten there before. A good choice. The food and service were excellent and we experienced none of the issues with poor service or food that are mentioned in other reviews. A fantastic location and yet again another on the list for future visits.

Have been coming here for for years, always have a good meal.Lovely staff, and what a view, right on the beach. In the evening it is lovely with the sun setting. Always busy in high season. From the outside it does not look much but the food is great in my opinion.
Dont let very basic looks of this small basic restaurant tell the wrong story service and moules were great and location at the sun at the beach is. Nice value for money for lunch defintely not a fine dining restaurant
I had the entrecôte for lunch which was a particularly bad cut of grisly beef, but the worst bit was the awful slow service that came without any apologies. My wife though enjoyed her chicken salad hence the 3 stars.

we have eaten here in the evening and eating was really good, but very large portions even for my man. the service was not as friendly as in some others, but this was compensated by eating and decor.
This restaurant is situated right next to the beach and serves great food. In addition, the staff is incredibly welcoming to all guests. They are kind and funny and make you feel right at home.
