We ate in this establishment one year ago and had really enjoyed that experience, so were looking forward to a late lunch in The 3 Brasseurs . However, we were very disappointed. We were seated fairly quickly and our order taken by a waitress that...we never saw again. We opted for flammelkuchen, warm goat cheese salad and a side of chips. Our food took 40 minutes to arrive and when it arrived, it was lukewarm – as if it had been waiting to be delivered to our table for 10 minutes. The restaurant did not appear to be that busy, but service was slow, tables were left uncleared and we saw another couple leave without ordering as they had not been attended to. Have been to Cité Europe many times and tried all the restaurants. This one is the best. Last visit was Saturday. I had the Flank Steak again and asked for 'medium ' as 'Rare ' in France is really rare and can be chewy. The steak was...super! The chips could have been hotter but it came with a lovely salad and was a good meal. The only sauce option is onion no peppercorn or Diane which I would have preferred. Service was good but not overly quick that 's fine as long as you are not rushing for a train. Beers are great but most are high in alcohol so not good if you are driving. We recently spent a month in France and Spain. During this time we used the official UK Covid Pass and had no problems to access any restaurant. HOWEVER, this place was the only one who did not accept it. Apparently, we're not going anywhere.
Would give 5 stars, but for the fact that the entire staff at the same time had to eat lunch I wanted an hour for dessert. The good was good, but the dessert was excellent. Book enough time for slow service and no problem.
