This is an excellent pub/restaurant. We went there twice. Both time we had different experience hence not rated highly as the place deserve. First time we visited on our first day. We had bad experience with waiter Stephane. Firstly he seated us in crammed area when the restaurant was empty. He was not helpful at all. We asked for menu in English but he told us that they don’t have one. Luckily a fellow diner from England translated the menu for us and we managed a good meal. This is a micro brewery in a French style Brasserie setting. The food is good and served quickly. Just perfect before catching the eurotunnel back to England. As a passenger it is even better! For some reason they like to seat the English in the outside seats, maybe that's where the English speaking waiters are. As we speak French we sit indoors and watch the 80's music videos on the big screen tvs. The beer can be ordered in various sizes. The menus are printed clearly with photos. If you normally drink lager, give one of the blondes (a beer! a try. The darker beers are heavier in flavour. The chips are good too. Don't expect warmth or smiles from the waiters, they are fast and professional...
Very well, but. we're going on Monday, February 14 being 3b amateur. we waited about 20 minutes for order and 30 minutes for our aperitif, it's always gone because we're on vacation. But I didn't understand that the waiter made me pay for a 2€ galopin just to taste the beer of the month, see if we were gonna take it. In the 3b, I've never paid my little tasting galopine to choose my beer. outside of that, we had a lot of fun.
I got there 'just to try ' and I was lucky! The place is beautiful and the personnel is nice and helpful! The beer is so good! Brewed in the place! If you got there in Thursday between 6 and 8 PM you got a free beer! The food is good for a chain restaurant and quite big! And you know what? 2 beers, a meal and a coffee for less than €20!!! Highly recommended!!!

Was surprised with the quality of the beer. They have a very good variety that seems to be influenced by Belgium. Their food is also very good with plates influenced by the local tastes.
