If you are looking for a luxurious restaurant with an extensive menu then this is not the place for you. In order to maximise the number of customers in a very confined space the tables are very close together and in some cases very small. The menu consists of a chalk board with perhaps 7 starters as 8ish main courses. The courses are predominantly fish and on our visit one pork and one beef dish. Deserts were limited to crepe, ice cream, a dessert of the day,cafe gourmand and profiteroles. This was our 4th or 5th visit in 3 years. It's still necessary to reserve well in advance, but well worth the effort in doing so. We both enjoyed the grilled gammas as starters. I then had an excellent dorado while my partner had his favorite, calamari with chorizo. A reasonably priced bottle of Pouilly-Fumé was an excellent accompaniment. I would have ordered the "Risotto de Turbot" if I had known that it was actually a filet of Turbot with risotto. So, even though the menu is on the slate, ask questions. We've already reserved for our next visit, in July.
After weeks of traveling we wanted a simple quality evening fish meal with good service. We received this at les Affiches - local oysters and then fresh turbot and monkfish cooked to perfection created a great dining event. This very small restaurant was very popular - many unfortunate potential diners did not make a booking and were politely declined. Not speaking French was of no concern as the menu was carefully explained by the attentive waiter. We believed that the meal was good value.
Set just behind the beach, this was our first visit to Les Affiches after reading the other reviews. We weren't disappointed. The menu is relatively compact but the food is beautifully cooked and presented, and the flavours delicious. The place has a lovely seaside atmosphere and the staff are all helpful and friendly even you speak une petite francais!Don't forget to book or you probably won't get in.

Fifth or sixth visit in 4 years, and we'll be back. This time we shared the specialty encornets et chorizo as an entree and then each had the filet de bar roti. Everything was excellent, and the prices are not high, so it's important to reserve. If nothing is available for 8 PM, try for 9 or 9:15.
Ever changing menu with imaginative fish dishes and alternatives. Excellent wine at reasonable prices. Friendly and efficient service. Buzzy atmosphere. Not the cheapest restaurant in town but good food, great ambiance - and superb chips! Must book, it never seems to be quiet.

I visit twice a year with golfing friends and it's always the best meal. A friendly patron, interesting food, great wine recommendations, and always a calva to go with a fair bill. A perfect evening.
