We were pleased by the warm reception and greatly appreciated that our waitress spoke good English. She talked us through the menu. The choice is small just items for each of starters entrees and with the main course chicken “unavailable” it left limited options since my wife cannot eat red meats. The starters one x poached egg on courgettes and one x melon ham were tasty. Our main dishes one x scallops and one x fish presented well but both seemed unnecessarily complex with the addition of petals and floral fragrances; the quality was overpowered by the additions. The cheese platter was excellent. We enjoyed the experience but sadly left saying “the chef was trying too hard”
Service was excellent. The food was just ok. I had the scallops. They were not tender as they were overcooked and they were coated in fresh herbs which gave it a burned flavor.
