We came to snowboard and were just so impressed with the hotel. It is small, friendly and really welcoming. All the staff spoke English so well and could not do enough for us. There were free pastries, coffee and snacks ready for us in the afternoon when we returned from the slopes. Room was lovely with comfy beds and a great walk in shower. The food was such a treat. Breakfast was help yourself to wide selection of breads, cheeses, meats, egg, pastries, cereals and drinks. The main restaurant is small but with breathtaking views across the valley. We booked a double room for 1 night and were delighted by this hotel. The hotel is freshly renovated with taste, the room is spacious and comfortable bedding. The modern bathroom is very pleasant. We received an irreproachable welcome during our stay and a very attentive staff. The evening menu is restricted but very well cooked. In the morning we enjoyed taking our breakfast (fresh and local) with a view of the snowy mountains. Another positive point, the hotel is located only 150m from the ski lifts. In short, I recommend without hesitation.
We have been here for several years almost every weekend and season. The food was of quality and the variable service varied very well to less well. The Basset (owners) has a concern for quality but the relational, loyalty is not their concern. We waited 1h this week to hear that our table had been forgotten despite the many demands and awakenings. We had to leave without eating... the kids took their belly empty. It happens... but not a "Sorry" would have been appreciated.

Completely renovated hotel, the information and photos are completely consistent. The managers are adorable and really attentive to each of our requests. Hotel located 150m from the ski lifts, tea and coffee are available upon return from skiing. The dishes offered at the restaurant are divine with excellent value for money on a half-board basis. To discover to access the large ski area of Alpe d'Huez without the hustle and bustle of the big resorts.
Address to avoid if you want to eat without waiting 1h30... The poor servers are understated and run in every direction to try to answer everyone. When our dishes arrived, the food was cold and the fries were barely cooked! We suggested to our server to offer us a digestive or a coffee to pass us the pill but the restaurant manager refused...
A renovated hotel with a lot of taste and comfort A warm and very professional welcome with Gauthier and Manouk. Not to mention Marina Very well placed compared to the ski lifts and parking closed to 50 m.
