This restaurant was recommended by French friends as being THE place to eat and has a Michelin star. So I took husband to celebrate a very special anniversaire.The location and the decoration are excellent, the service very french which means a stiff smile which never reaches the eyes and very formel but that is how it is here. The lobster bisque was so, so salty and I could not eat more than 2 spoonfuls. Having had this dish the previous week in another restauant and so enjoyed it, I was disappointed. Creative cuisine with sometimes unusual combinations and exotic ingredients, always successful. The service was efficient and warm, always a feeling like home without being invasive. We had the lobster menu, very tasty and surprising, delicious! After dinner, the chef M. Dupouy insisted in driving us back to our hotel, we can hardly imagine a higher level of gentleness!
A restaurant to be discovered absolutely. Christophe and Eugenie share their passion on their plates. The products are of quality according to the terroir and the seasons. Subjects like lobster, truffle, caviar... The opportunity to dream a little. The quantities are sufficient and the value ratio is respected. The wines are well chosen. Thank you.
