"Had a wonderful dinner here at a reasonable price for such great food. The apricot dessert was like a Heston Blumenthal type dish."

we've been going to the dordogne for a few years, because it's beautiful everywhere and we've been fun that they can't find a single bad restaurant. to our experience in les flots bleus. we drove a bit out of the way. raised experience because we celebrated and planned to go. we ordered an apéritif, the Gourmand menu, mineral water and a bottle of wine. I explained what a wee we wanted: full-bodied and oak. Unfortunately, the wee we got was very sour/citrusive/fruitful (the bastide de blacailloux miraia blanc . we have told the waiter and he lets us try another (chateau l' hospital, graves blanc . much better (also in the nose, but again high in acid and minerals that we do not like, especia...

some of the reviews here are scathing, so I was not sure what to expect, but my meal was really nice. it was pricy according to france standards, but average according to usa standards. the service was great, I felt welcome and comfortable in every sight. I had. a starter, main and 1 glass white wine. I sat on the outside terrace on the water. it was nice. they brought an unexpected amuse bouche out of a gougère and cheese foam, delicious! I had the Foie-Gras star, and it was a perfect one! Finally I will be cooked in frankly fresh, pan seared foie gras. it was served on boiled pears with a pfanne jus drizzled top. divine! I ordered the riz de veau, or sweetbreads, for my porn. they were cri...

we went to this restaurant due to good reviews on tripadvisor, should have looked better, most are old reviews. Eating was terrible and too expensive. we tried to send several tellers back, but the hostess would not listen and be mad with us, even...whether we tried to explain that (for example) my risotto was like rice and the fish had no taste at all. the defensive looked out and tasted as if she had not seen a pan/oven, the skin was not spattered out and she tasted as if it had been fought. I can go on and how any dish was bad, but they get the picture. a lot to overprice and really bad service. instead of eating les voyageurs, half the price and really good eating. they know how to cook...

do not go here, they try to be imaginative, but eating is really bad! everything is too salt, strange prorpotions, not well cooked and the service is really bad. I can't understand that they have recommended a recent michelin. I'll never go there again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
