. Charming hotel, lovely staff, awful room It's a lovely old building, well sited for visiting the town, and the open-air market. The staff were very friendly, and in the morning when we went to pay they pointed out that my husband had had a coffee, but no food, and I had eaten, but not had anything to drink, so they reckoned that we had had only one breakfast between the two of us, and just charged us for one. Never had that happen before! But the room . . . Last redecorated in the sixties. Probably the bedding and towels had been bought then too. Old-style hotel that my partner and I love, it reminds me of my workplace in Locronan . The welcome is top notch, thank you again for welcoming us late in the evening to get a room. The breakfast is just right for two people and it is balanced, the pastries are very good. The place is well located for visiting the Loire castles. Thank you again for all . Kenavo. To please my son I went into this pastry bakery that was once excellent but obviously it is no longer the case!We chose several macarons they were hard like stone and for some infects!At the price I find it lamentable! I'll never put my feet back until there's no new owners! To flee absolutely!

They have an incorrect name and an incorrect address posted with many online booking sites; which means that when you arrive in Loches you cannot find the hotel despite going to the address provided. They take no responsibility for this and still charged us. Disgraceful.
Wallpaper and carpets needed replacing in my bedroom at least, I'd be ashamed to let out a room in that condition. Restaurant looked sumptuous and the lady on reception very graciously let me use the hotel's parking free of charge. My rating is based solely on my room.
I came because all the other bakeries were closed. the one had the merit of being open and having what I was looking for.The welcome is very simple but I was overall satisfied.
I only know the restaurant and it is an exceptional experience that I highly recommend. The prices are more than reasonable and the refinement matches the originality.
