In the Alpine world, lunch on the slopes is one of three things: your own packed lunch, a terrible and over-priced bowl of overcooked spaghetti bolognese, or a massive sit down lunch that lasts most of the afternoon. Les Meregers is different, specifically it is none of those things. A friend of mine recommended this restaurant's pizzas to me at least a dozen times, and I finally got round to going. I could instantly see what she was on about: home made, wood fired pizzas, cooked over a proper heat. The crust was still crispy even by the end of the meal, always a sign that proper ingredients were used and, although my pizza was supposed to come with peppers, they had run out and replaced the...
Lunched there a few times, great pizza made in a wood fired oven. Reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. If the black run next door is closed, it's a long blue path down to the chair lift.
Great place on the pistes. They have the best view in Valloire. Food is very good. Atmosphere is charming although a little bit kitsch - temple of teddy bears. I will be back for sure.
Great food, we had pizza & chips! With the best hot chocolate the kids had ever had - apparently! A lovely view outside & a great atmosphere inside. Would visit again.
