After having dinner in another place, we wanted to have tiramisu and we decided to go to an Italian (of course). We found this one and it was empty with only three people inside eating !! As you walk in the place is beautiful decorated!!! Very nice!!!! However, knowing that it might be a bit awkward to ask for dessert rather than dinner we asked the waiter beforehand and instead of saying yes or not, she kept of going saying "that they don't normally allowing that etc..." We got a bit confused because a straight answer was not given, we had to ask again and finally we got the yes!!!! Well, the tiramisu was ok, not to die for. I lived near this place and ate there several times. It is a really nice place with a "Provence" feeling.The staff is nice and supportive and do not mind if you take a little longer with your order - or if you order in English. I ate the carpaccio and a salad. The salad was nothing special but it was exactly what I ordered, so I was happy with what I got (salad with cherry tomatos bacon and croutoins). The carpaccio was well seasoned and came with french fries. That doesn't really match in general, but both in their seperate existence were good and tasty. The wine was just perfect. We followed the reviews on tripadvisor and went out to eat at Les Moulins Bleus... This was a very bad decision. The interior is very ugly. It is an example of very bad taste. The music was also horrible, you could compare it to cheap music as played in super markets. Then the food... I had the carpaccio and they managed to put the bad peaces of meat underneath the salad so you couldn't see them. The salad was not fresh. My boyfriend had a pizza. The pizza here in an insult for real Italian pizza. We got a little basket of breads. My daughter and I were looking for another restaurant in the area, which we never found. We selected this one after reading some choices on the menu that looked healthy and had green vegetables. The steamed meals are served in a bamboo steamer and include a meat (cod, salmon, prawns or chicken), green beans, broccoli, peas, carrots, cherry tomatoes and artichoke hearts. I had the chicken and my daughter selected the cod. The food was served hot and had a nice flavor. Bread was served after we requested it with our meal. The menu has many other choices but we found our selection very good. This restaurant is on a side street near the cathedral.

Si je n'avais qu'à noter la nourriture, mes trois étoiles seraient un peu sévères. La pizza était très bonne et bien garnie. L'ambiance et le service sont agréables ! CEPENDANT ! Je trouve inacceptable qu'étant arrivés au début du service de midi, nous ayons trouvé les toilettes dans un pareil état. Et cela n'avait rien à voir avec un usager malpropre ponctuel. Le sol était si collant, ce qui prouve que cela n'avait pas été nettoyé depuis un moment et ça écœure vraiment.
While visiting Metz for a conference, I found this restaurant. The restaurant was not really noticeable like a hidden pearl.Although I was alone, a waiter gave me a table with a good view.Service was good as as well the food.There was an intern who was really nice as well.I ordered a bottle of Saint Pellegrino and a spaghetti a la Carbonara.Then creme brulee for dessert.All of them was better than I expected.Loved the time there, food and service!
We had a fast dinner and took a salad. But the salad was not fresh, it was half foul. The servant took his time and came only after 10 or 15 minutes. We told him about the salad and he took it and didn't say anything. On the check one salad was off- but I still didn't have had dinner! We will never ever eat in one of these restaurants!
ABSOLUTELY GREAT. A reference restaurant for me in Metz, the cuisine is excellent, the service was perfect, thanks to the magnificent Lucile for her warm welcome and her humor which will make us come back with great pleasure! See you soon ! And thank you Lucile!

Pizza and pasta were great, at this eatery. Burger was ok, too. Prices here are average.
