We planned to be over-nighting in Honfleur and for ease we booked this restaurant as it is next door to the hotel.We arrived at 8pm and were immediately treated to the offhandedness of the proprietor. He called his wife?.....out of the kitchen and she somewhat reluctantly showed us to our table. Thirty minutes later we still had no other contact with anyone, no menu, no wine list, nothing. Two other (French) couples walked in and were treated to the same "pointing to their table" gestures we had had from the proprietor (very Basil Fawlty) but then were almost immediately handed menus by his wife! Very poor experience... Crepes we OK but it's hard to do something wrong with them...Main issue here is serious under-staffing: All tables were seated when we visited this place. There was only one waitress available for ordering, service and clean-up and one chef for baking the crepes on a two-plate stove. This is by far not enough for the place where practically everyone orders gallettes for main dish and sweet crepes for dessert. With a family of four, we ordered 3 crepes and one portion of fries, and had to wait for 1,5h. The poor waitress forgot our water, forgot to bring bread, was running around like crazy. We were looking for somewhere to eat near the Ibis Honfleur on Cours Jean de Vienne and stubbled across this Creperie located next to the Ibis hotel a short walk away. It was about 6.30 pm and it did not appear open but we peered in and the proprietor emerged and greeted us in French waving us in. We didn’t speak French and he didn’t speak English but it was all very friendly and we sat down in a sunny spot by the rear window area overlooking a nice garden area. The young waitress didn’t speak a lot of English either and as a few people started to come in they were local families rather than tourists and so as such it was quite an authentic French experience. We go this creperie severals times a year. Crepes are not my absolute favourite things, but they have such a wide range on offer that there's bound to be combination which suits. For those looking for a touch of spice, I can recommend the pidzoutte (probably spelt wrong), with spicy sausage, red and green peppers and tomatoes. Superb. The desert crepes (which are a favourite of mine), are also good.The service is leisurely, but NOT neglectful, as some reviewers point out, so don't go if you're in a hurry, but if you're happy to relax, listen to the musical offerings, take in the atmos, of which there is plenty, and sip on your drink for a little while, you'll be rewarded.

This is a great little restaurant if you are staying at one of the hotels on the east side of town, such as the B&B, as it is within easy walking distance, so no problem with drinking and driving!The interior decor is interesting, rustic in places, more like someone's country house than a restaurant. The menu is varied and very comprehensive. We chose the gallettes which may appear to be light fare but in fact we found them very filling, and delicious. Scrumptious deserts and a very pleasant house wine made a delightful evening.
Been here many times over the years and always a firm favourite with the family. It has changed dramatically. No staff to welcome you or look after you, just a chief and a woman in the kitchen. No interest in taking orders so you have to push to get any attention and sadly the food was not as nice as in the past.They need to up their game if they want to survive in this competitive market.
This crêperie looks nothing from the outside, but well worth the visit. Good parking (but only 20 minutes walk from the centre of town), welcoming staff, "family friendly" and - as the category suggests - a limited menu. The service was superb and the galettes and crêpes "to die for". This added to our enjoyment of our stay. Thank you.
