Located at the end of le Villiage aux Chèvres below Lindarets, les Rhodos is a charming alpine restaurant, with excellent home coked food and good wine served by friendly and efficient staff. The cafe grourmand which comprises an espresso accompanied by 4 or 5 miniature desserts is a delight and well worth saving space for, or skiing extra hard afterwards. In any case if you do over do the coffee and digestifs at lunch remember you will either have to ski down to Ardent or face an energetic walk back up to Lindarets. I returned to the pretty goat village in Avoriaz with friends today. We sat outside in the sunshine at this lovely restaurant and ordered the Rhodos house burger. The service was a little slow but the restaurant was packed both inside and out so really they do an amazing job because the menu is very comprehensive. The waiter was charming and brought water quickly. The burgers arrived and did not disappoint. They were cooked rare as we’d requested and tasted delicious with the famous combination of a tomato fondu sauce and reblochon cheese. If you haven’t had a Rhodos burger yet then you must try one. We were all shocked by the price. At nineteen euros it was one of the most expensive burgers...

A great place to stop for lunch when skiing in the Porte du Soleil. Their 'plat du jour ' is reasonably priced and always delicious with plenty of vegetables and sauce. They also do a very nice vegetarian dish of chanterelles mushrooms accompagnied by a variety of vegetables. The service is quick, efficient and very friendly. It 's a pleasure to eat here either inside (with its cosy atmosphere) or out, depending on the weather.

A good bar and restaurant near the Mairie in central Morzine. Excellent for a wet weather lunch or after you've been on the slopes. Also a firm favourite out of season as it is open all year round.
