However, some of them do not deliver completely what they promise. the cassolette de homard is such, although there are some good pieces. of lobster in it; the problem is that the sauce does very little to improve the taste of the lobster and the choice of the sweetness added to the mix is not inspired. the entrecôte was good, very delicate and generous, and the gratin dauphinois was ok (if somewhat thick cut), but a green salate instead of vegetables is a lazy choice, and so is the tub of the scab instead of a sauce for the meat. the local cheese is nothing special and can be dispensed with. my cho...
many of the restaurants in la turballe have been closed as it is the middle of the week and we liked the view of this restaurant. we were not disappointed. Welcome to a warming charcoal fire/grill, we went for the formula at euro plus a pitcher. of house wine. brot and lead water quickly always arrived a good sign, followed by free amuse book (a different very beautiful touch) . and it was just better. our appetizers and main courses were excellent and we even went for desserts. the portions are not disappointed. we would certainly eat here again.
Oui, it was my fault. the entrecôte was good and made in the kamin but the gambas and the langustine were old. very old. with a terrible smell. I told the waitress with humor. but no answer. I'm sorry. it was my fault. do not order fish menus in a meat restaurant.
