I am a wheelchair user. After a tiring trip to to the island we were desperate for a coffee. We saw this place on the way past which advertised itself as a Restaurant and a Bar with soft drink and coffee prices clearly shown. After manoeuvring ourselves in the restaurant a waiter appeared and we requested two coffees with milk (in the French language). Despite the place being only 1/5 full the waiter told us they were only a restaurant and that they could not serve us coffee. I wanted to have one of the famous omelets while on the Mont and Rick Steves said that we'd be able to find them cheaper as we climbed the hill. This restaurant is owned by the same family that owns the hotel where we stayed and has the famous omelet kitchen next door to the hotel entrance, so this seemed like a reasonable choice. There is a nice view of the water if you are lucky enough to snag one of those tables. The service was fine and the food was just okay. We knew this was a tourist trap kind of place when we got there (couldn't find anything on the island that wasn't!) but we were disappointed nonetheless. I can't ever remember having had such bad service. Our waitress kept saying "vite, vite, vite" ("quick, quick, quick!") as we were ordering (yes, I'm serious). We told the manager about this and she just shrugged and walked away (again, yes I'm serious!).The food tasted of absolutely nothing. We might as well have filled our stomachs with cardboard.
We really enjoyed this restaurant for dinner. We had a great view and were very pleased with the food. The three course menu options were good and well priced considering the captive audience. The oysters were very fresh, some of the best I have ever had. The classic Mont St Michel omelette was very light a fluffy. The creme brûlée was classic. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant for the best view and probably one a the best meals on the Mont.

We entered the restaurant and the staff was very cold from the first minute. They gave us “the look that you own me money”. And after we asked only for couple of beers, the waiter asked “no food?” I said no and you can see the disappointment in the face. He cleared the table and that was very rude how he did it. First and last time.

Nice view from our table near the window, Food was Good, though not the sort of place to spend a few hours, gfast turn over, but suited us, Same menu as coupke other places, prices good
Absolutely delicious, I had the 24e formula menuNormandy salad with camembert cheese(yum), the cod filet and finished with creme brulé.

The literally only decent aspects of this restaurant were the English menu and the friendly staff.
