The restaurant is in a superb location within a walled garden and is idyllic particularly for a summer's evening. The food is superb with an excellent menu and they offer local wines also, chilled to perfection. The service is of a top standard and the main waiter is very well experienced from catering school many years ago. The owners are very hospitable and most welcoming We could not fault this well-priced dining experience and would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone
Visited with friends while we were on a canal holiday. We ate in the pretty garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was lovely. All very enjoyable.
Lots of pretentiousness for mediocre food. Wine only by the bottle, no house wine. Chilly garden. Don't do it again.
