Les Vignes De San Fariou

Enjoyed a dinner at this place with my family. Based on the menu that day, it seemed like a meat place, however they had vegetarian alernatives as well. We ate outside and the place is in the middle of the city. We had a few great dishes, but the most impressive and probably the biggest surprise was the truffle carpaccio. This was more like a salad with generous amount of truffles(but not too much) and some lovely cold cuts. The service was excellent from both the non-English speaker and the English speaking.

The new owners of this restaurant have turned it into a great asset to the village. The food is local, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The service is friendly and just the right level of attentiveness. There are menu suggestions for 2 or 3 courses and some à la carte dishes. On our first visit in May we ate inside which has a lovely ambience and this week ate outside in the perfect village setting. Highly recommended!

We found this restaurant well my wife did whilst staying in a villa close to the town .. we visited twice .. I would have gone every day !!!! If we discovered it earlier in our trip .. food absolutely incredible.. service fantastic great wine , so friendly... but the food wow wow love it ..and the owner, and his wife and dog so friendly.. thanks v much perfect.

The food here is wonderful. Small changeable menu really well executed. All local produce. The restaurant itself is very elegant and the service is impeccable. Valentin was our waiter and he was so helpful in translating for us. Couldn’t fault my meal. Or my wine. Perfection.

Excellent food, the faux filet was superb, wine list a little pricey. Trying to be Michelin star but bit too formal for the village setting it is located in. Excellent desserts and goats cheese.
