As expected, you have to peel and eat. Expect to “get messy “. It also a nice opportunity to try one, or two, different types of seafood. We liked some better than others. We were a little surprised that the seafood is cold. So is the butter. The bread is a little hard. The Rose wine is very good. The Paella comes in a warm crock, and it’s good. We put out butter inside the crock to soften it. We had 5 different hard shell, Paella, a bottle of sparkling water, bread and 2 glasses of Rose wine for 81 euro.

We visit the altantic coast every year, the day of our departure at the end of the holidays is not complete without a visit to Les cViviers Charentais. this is the fruit de mer paradise . It is not realy a restaurant, more a food stall with the possibility to eat sur place. Super fresh seafood served with a bread, wine, mayonnaise and a smile. You pick your choise of seafood from the counter, pick a table in or outside and your selection is served on a massive boat filled with ice. We will be back!

Good restaurant. the principle of being able to choose our products before and on the stall, is super nice. We can take it or take it. The opening and preparation of the seafood makes a note more salty than if you take to take away, at an additional 25%...the note is therefore quite salty, but the products, the frame and the service make it more digestive. Excellent seafood kiosk, you can eat in or takeaway . We chose to takeaway as just outside our campsite. We have used this many times and have always been happy with the quality and price. They have a lovely terrace area out the back which gives a very pleasant eating place. Just specialises in fruit de mer and shellfish

We never miss an opportunity to spend the time there, if we avoid paella, good but expensive, seafood its best everywhere else and also a quality ratio simply unbeatable.
