Called here at the start of our circular walk to Pont du Gard and was served a lovely cup of tea by the very friendly owner. On return from our walk we asked if we could have lunch but explained that we only had 45 minutes before our bus was due no problem! Before we knew it two very welcome cold beers and two plat du jours appeared. The plate contained a small tuna salad with a lovely dressing, a portion of pasta with chilli sauce and a beautiful piece of steak with a cep sauce. Staying nearby we walked here for a meal. The menu offers lots of tartare (raw meat) meals, pizza or a buffet where you get to grill your own meat at the table. This place is basically a marquee next to the main road, under the walls of a large farmouse where they cook and set the buffet. The road became less busy as the night wore on. We saw a talented family sing and dance here which made for a very good evening. The pizzas were good too.

Staying on the area so we decided to try this place. We certainly weren't expecting much from a small village eatery but we left unimpressed. My wife had seafood linguine which was mainly just mussels and was very bland. I had the entrecote which was poor- lacked any real flavour and was chewy...at €18 this was very bad value. The service was indifferent too. Plenty of better places around for lunch than this.

we had been advised this restaurant, at last not high, buffet of limited frozen breads for euros) ,grill who catches, not top when you have to grill the cut meat in cube as well as the fish also in cube, so not big to grill, as make the hot cheese for the raclette it puts a good time to melt, uncooked potatoes, not to press and finish the dessert very
