We ate here on our second night and came back on our third night. The Entrecote was tender and tasty, and with chips and salad was a bargain price. The patron was very helpful, the waitress too. I don't see how the could be considered rude? It was full every night, they had to turn many people away...
We've been going to L'Escale for years and we always get a warm welcome from Mousse and Ali good value food and good house wine what more do you want - we cant wait to be back in the summer.
Excellent (big) salads and really nice home made deserts. The waitresses were really friendly. I would definitely go back again! They use local products and serve locally produced beer.
If you wish to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience of unwelcomeness, l'Escale is the place to be! You'll be amazed by the waitress, who is as charming and nice as a prison warden.
