The owner is an absolute delight charming, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about wine. Her selection of wines is top notch, with something to suit every palate. The tapas at this place are to die for. Each dish was bursting with flavor and paired perfectly with the wines we tried. The owner even took the time to recommend pairings based on our preferences, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The large cellar of Villefranche is the only place in the Alpes Maritimes that will give you this unique experience. Joy, good humor, sympathy, elegance, Leslie the owner of this establishment is a caring and most professional person. Accompanied by her very friendly son, this mother and son bond only accentuates our admiration for them. Thank you for this wonderful meeting. A little corner of paradise in Villefranche! We came across this place by chance one evening in August. We were hot, we were thirsty! A little Saint Germain Spritz to start, then some good wines, a few boards… We no longer see the time passing so well as when it’s time for dinner. We ask the boss for advice on transferring to a restaurant. To which she suggests asking the restaurant next door to serve us, while continuing to enjoy its terrace and its wine. In short, a very nice evening! Good products, welcoming staff, a picturesque view of the port… What more could you ask for! Don't go there, run there!
La Grande Cave is a must if you are in Villefranche sur mer. Incredible atmosphere, a prime location, and the best wine I have ever had! This was the highlight of our trip. The owner is incredible. So knowledgeable, so fun, and made us laugh the entire time. We stopped in on the 3rd last day of our trip, and regretted not going sooner!! We made sure to stop by every day before we left. I also had to grab one of her tote bags to remind me of the amazing time we had here. Highly recommend stopping in. It was an amazing experience!!

If you pass through Villefranche, you have to make a small detour through the Grande Cave. This wine bar is warm, cozy. You can taste good small plates of cheese, hams, camembert,.... by sipping a small wine recommended by Leslie. Leslie is in care for her clients. In addition to her good mood and beautiful smile, she always has a small word for each client. I'm not talking to you about his dislocated humour, you know, go find out for yourself. In short, this is my favorite place in Villefranche.

The place is actually nice (frame, playlist but it’s very expensive for very small amounts of tartines with industrial ham. The wine is good but there are only 3 choices (white, red, rosé damage for a wine bar! Finally, we found the simple reception not particularly welcoming.

We stopped here briefly and had some wine. The atmosphere, the wine, and the service were so good that we ended up staying much longer than planned. I highly recommend this place! Thank you for this wonderful experience!
