We were desperately trying to find a night stopover north of St Etienns, went through many towns with no or not appropriate hotels. Stopped in a neighbouring village to ask whre on earth a hotel was and we were directed to L'Eveil des Sens@ in Trelins a tiny village that you would never find if you did not know) and only a short distance from the autoroute. The small hotel was spotlessly clean- simple bedrooms with crisply ironed sheets and very comfortable bed. The owners are absolutely charming and really really care about their hotel and their guests. We ate in the restaurant and had the most delicious home made prepared fois gras followed by a superb melange of beautifully cooked fish. T...

Very friendly staff. The rooms were better than I imagined (spacious, well equipped, well thoughts, spacious bathroom). The only thing that bothered me a little is the car passage near my room, but it wasn't a big problem.
